Cod has been used for Christmas food in Norway for centuries, and still has an important position in the menu for the holidays in many Norwegian homes. For inspiration about preparation, maybe in a new way this year, see the links below (only in Norwegian):
The 20th of December, from 18.00 to 21.00, Arctic Linefish will participate with a stand in the traditional Christmas Event located in “Nordfjordhallen”, Måløy.
This event has been organized for the last eight years and is a great opportunity for showing activities in our region and to meet other actors in the industry. It is also a nice opportunity for residents, visitors and people who want to know what happens in the region of Nordfjord.
The Christmas event will be a nice chance to exchange experiences and trends, talk with the industry in the region and maybe get a job as well!
We are looking forward to a nice gathering, and hope to see both local and external visitors that are interested in learning and sharing visions about a positive development in our region.

#codshare is all about sharing the knowledge about cod. At the moment, British and Norwegian chefs are gathered in the Norwegian city Ålesund to exchange receipts about how to cook this fish that both Brits and Norwegians love. 10 of the best British Fish & chips chefs are specially invited to Norway for the occasion.
The event is arranged by the Norwegian Seafood Council and Fiskebåt, and Norwegian producers, including Arctic Linefish, are participating in the event. #codshare seeks to teach about sustainable Norwegian fisheries and modern production and freezing at sea. This way, the Norwegian seafrozen fillets offered are «Fresher than fresh». In Arctic Linefish, we are proud to be one of the producers invited to participate in #codshare. This states that our line caught seafrozen fillets represent one of the best raw materials that Norwegian seafood offers.

If you are located in the area of Bergen, Norway, and you don´t know what to have for dinner, look for our Ervikfisk demo in the MENY or COOP supermarkets. Our chef Raimundas is making delicious plates for tasting, and is happy to inform about our high quality cod products, all caught by hook and produced and frozen at sea. Raimundas will also have the perfect receipts for your fish meals! Still don´t know what to have for dinner?
Arctic Linefish was one of 9 Norwegian companies participating in the Norwegian Pavilion at Seafood Expo Barcelona this week. It has been a positive experience for us participating in the exhibition in one of the world´s most important and still growing cod markets. This year, visitors to the Norwegian Pavilion had the pleasure of tasting high quality Norwegian seafood, where Arctic Linefish frozen at sea-cod was part of the menu.
We will like to thank all old and new contacts that visited our stand, Innovation Norway for good organisation and the other Norwegian exhibitors for good company and interesting conversations.

Arctic Linefish and Ervik Group participated in NorFishing, the world`s leading fisheries exhibition, in Trondheim 19-22 August. We wish to thank all of you that visited our stand, and we are looking forward to further collaboration with new and old friends.
